Why Termites Are a Bigger Problem in Miami
Miami-Dade County has the highest concentration of termite activity in the continental United States. We have three destructive species active here year-round: native subterranean termites, invasive Formosan subterraneans, and West Indian drywood termites. Drywood termites alone are estimated to infest more than 1 in 8 homes in older Miami neighborhoods.
Termite damage is rarely visible until it's structural. By the time you see swarmers or "kick-out" piles, the colony has often been active for 3–5 years. Annual inspections and proactive treatment are dramatically cheaper than the repairs from an undetected infestation.
Our Termite Treatment Options
Drywood Termite Tenting (Whole-Structure Fumigation) — $1,500–$4,000
The only treatment that's guaranteed to eliminate 100% of drywood termites throughout an entire structure. The home is tented and Vikane gas is introduced for 24–48 hours. Comes with a 1-year warranty. Best for confirmed widespread drywood infestations.
Drywood Termite Spot Treatment — From $495
Localized treatment of a confirmed drywood termite gallery using directly injected products. Effective for small, isolated infestations or when tenting isn't feasible. Includes 1-year warranty.
Drywood Termite Liquid Treatment — $750–$1,500
Surface-applied liquid that penetrates wood and kills termites on contact while leaving a residual. Good for accessible exposed wood and pre-construction wood treatment.
Subterranean Termite Bait System Installation — From $1,200
Sentricon-style in-ground bait stations installed every 10 feet around the perimeter of your home. The colony feeds on the bait and is eliminated within weeks. Includes annual monitoring.
Subterranean Termite Liquid Treatment — $2,500–$6,000
Trench-and-treat or sub-slab injection of termiticide that creates a complete soil barrier around the foundation. Best for active subterranean infestations. 1-year warranty.
