What's Included in General Pest Control
Our general pest control program is the most popular service we offer in Miami-Dade — and for good reason. Florida's heat and humidity make pest pressure year-round, and a single one-time treatment rarely solves the underlying problem. Our recurring plans create a protective barrier around your property that prevents pests from getting comfortable in the first place.
Every general pest control visit includes:
- Exterior perimeter treatment — power-spray treatment around the foundation, entry points, soffits, and conducive harborage areas.
- Interior treatment as needed — kitchens, bathrooms, garages, baseboards, and any active pest sightings.
- Web removal & nest knockdown on accessible exterior surfaces.
- Granular bait application in turf and mulch beds for ants and other crawling pests.
- Inspection report after every visit with notes on conducive conditions and recommendations.
Pests Covered by Our General Program
Our recurring plan covers virtually every common household pest in South Florida:
- Ghost ants, big-headed ants, white-footed ants, carpenter ants
- American roaches (palmetto bugs), Australian roaches, smokybrown roaches
- House spiders, wolf spiders, daddy longlegs
- Silverfish & firebrats
- Earwigs, centipedes, millipedes
- Crickets, pillbugs, and occasional invaders
Specialty pests — German roaches, bed bugs, rodents, termites, fire ants — are handled with dedicated programs and may require separate treatments.

What Affects Final Pricing
The prices shown are our starting rates. The final quote depends on property size (square footage), pest pressure observed on the initial inspection, and whether multiple properties or units are bundled together. Multi-property and HOA pricing is quoted on request — we work with portfolios of 8 to 400+ units across South Florida.
Compared to typical Miami competitors who quote $60–$120/month for similar coverage, Dever Pest Control offers some of the most competitive recurring pricing in South Florida — with a real warranty, a tiered upgrade path, and family-owned service.
Our Process
- Free phone or on-site inspection. We assess your pest pressure, property size, and your specific concerns.
- Custom treatment plan. We recommend the right tier based on your situation.
- Initial deep treatment. A thorough first visit that knocks down existing populations.
- Recurring maintenance. Same friendly technician each visit, scheduled around you.
- Warranty re-treats free. Pest issues between visits? We come back at no charge.
Why Miami Homes Need Year-Round Pest Control
Unlike most of the country, Miami doesn't have a winter freeze that knocks pest populations back. Roaches breed year-round, ants stay active 12 months a year, and the rainy season (May–October) drives moisture-loving pests indoors. Without ongoing prevention, even a clean home will see pest problems within weeks. A recurring program is dramatically more effective and more affordable than calling for one-off treatments every time you see a roach.
