Bed Bug Elimination That Actually Works
Bed bugs are notoriously hard to eliminate. They hide in cracks as thin as a credit card, lay eggs in seams and electrical outlets, and can survive months without feeding. A single missed egg cluster can re-infest the property within weeks. That's why our bed bug program uses a multi-life-stage treatment protocol targeting adults, nymphs, and eggs simultaneously.
Our Two-Phase Treatment Protocol
Phase 1 — Initial Treatment
- Thorough inspection with flashlight and bed bug detection tools
- Application of EPA-registered residual insecticide to all harborage sites: mattresses, box springs, bed frames, headboards, nightstands, baseboards, electrical outlets, carpet edges
- Steam treatment of heavily infested seams (kills all life stages on contact)
- Application of insect growth regulator (IGR) to disrupt the bed bug life cycle
- Encasement recommendations for mattresses and box springs
Phase 2 — Follow-Up (14 days later)
- Re-inspection of all originally treated and adjacent rooms
- Re-treatment of any active harborage sites
- Verification of zero activity
Pricing
- Starting at $435 for the first bedroom + common areas
- +$100 per additional bedroom
- Heat treatment available on request for higher infestations or chemical-sensitive clients
- Volume pricing for Airbnb operators, hotels, and MFR property managers
Bed Bugs in Airbnbs & Short-Term Rentals
Miami's Airbnb and short-term rental market is one of the largest in the U.S. — and bed bugs are the #1 cause of negative reviews and platform deactivations. We work with dozens of STR operators across Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, Brickell, and Downtown Miami offering:
- Same-day treatment for active complaints
- Discreet unmarked vehicles (on request)
- Documentation of treatment for guest disputes
- Preventive quarterly inspections
How to Prepare for a Bed Bug Treatment
We'll provide a detailed prep sheet before your appointment. In general: launder all linens on high heat, declutter floors, vacuum thoroughly, move furniture away from walls. The treatment is most effective when these steps are completed in advance.
Signs You Have Bed Bugs
- Itchy, red welts in a line or cluster — often on arms, neck, and back
- Small reddish-brown stains on sheets and mattress seams
- Dark spots (digested blood) along mattress piping and box spring
- Sweet, musty odor in heavily infested rooms
- Live bugs or shed skins near the mattress, headboard, or baseboards
